  2. Yeah, I know. I've ridden it about a dozen times now. I like the very wide shoulders on the East/West leg, but the North/South leg is more like the roads south of K10; it has no shoulder at all. They just take a little more vigilance and attention paid to the sounds coming up behind. I've a helmet mounted mirror I'll be using.

  3. I just stumbled onto your blog today, via the KC bike commuting blog. This route seems, um, intense. I live near 72nd and Ballentine, and commuted to Lawrence for four years. I did briefly entertain the notion of someday riding my bike to Lawrence, but riding the bus home. Your efforts are admirable.
